Shariatpur Development Society (SDS)

Shariatpur Development Society (SDS) is a non-government organization (NGO) based in Shariatpur district, founded by like-minded Red cross workers, lawyers, journalist and business people with a view to empowering the disadvantaged people and to bring about overall change in the life of the rural poor especially women. SDS started it’s journey in 1991 after the catastrophic flood of 1988 and expanding its intervention from geographical pocket to mainland with the collaboration of Donors, INGOs, GOBs and grass roots partners.
