A new Belgian cycling group is getting ready to visit IHS working area of Sirajganj, Gaibandha and Netrakona (26th March till 6 April 2016). The 17 members are all working in colleges in Belgium and are supporting the IHS project. By bicycle we will visit the rural women MF-groups: how they unite, how the group functions and how they make decisions on the initiative to build new houses for members.

Our cyclists will visit constructed houses as well as ongoing construction. We will cycle aside of the Jamuna, and see with our own eyes how the erosion of this mighty river is unstoppable. Later, we will visit the chars and cross the river by country boats, on the way to Jamalpur and further to Mymensingh.
